As many of you know already, I’m very much not in favor of riding like this.  In general, you’re a danger to both yourself and others when you’re zipping through traffic at 190+ mph on a sport bike (or any kinda motorcycle, for that matter).

But this crazy biker video is bitchin’.  Keep an eye on that speedo on the right -- from 0 to 100 in just a few seconds, and doing a wheelie from 30 to 90 mph on the way. 

If you’re on a deserted road, and you’re not posing a danger to anyone but yourself, then how you ride is up to you (like in the second run in this vid).  When only you have to suffer the consequences of your actions (i.e. the possibility of getting a ticket, and a rate hike in your motorcycle insurance), then I’m a believer in personal choice.   Besides, they’ve got track days for balls-out riding, where the proper safety personnel are on hand.

But I have a big beef with people who ride like that in traffic.  I’ve been on the receiving end of being passed by crazed motorcycle riders like this.  Shocking other drivers / bikers like that can easily put them in danger.  So it’s not cool.  Besides, they didn’t make the choice to be put in danger -- and no one has the right to risk anyone’s life but their own.
