Some possibly good news:  Indian Motorcycle is making a comback.  Again.

Many of you will remember the attempt to revive the old legend about 10 years ago.  There was a ton of fanfare and lots of excited riders (I was one too) that were looking forward to a return of the Chief, and the Scout, as well as wondering what they’d bring to the table that would be new and cool. 

However, once the first year’s models came out, we were all broken-hearted to see that Indian Motorcycle was simply pumping out Harley knock-offs.  Aftermarket Evo motors, a basic Softtail look, and some big fenders to remind you that it was actually supposed to be a Chief.   They were overpriced, and a general let down. 

After just a few years, Indian Motorcycle Part II shuttered the doors.

Now, get ready for Indian Motorcycle Part III.

Let’s hope they get it right this time.
